Martin Granström

Chief Technical Officer

Martin Granström is the Chief Technology Officer of Zen innovations Pte Ltd., the operator of Unizen.

Martin has over 15 years of experience working with and leading complex software architecture and development projects; including system-level, data-driven, UI/UX applications; and cryptographic projects in the rapidly evolving blockchain market.

He is a full-stack software developer who previously worked for Netrounds (acquired by Juniper Networks in 2020).

Martin currently lives in Lulea, Sweden.

Sean Noga is the CEO of Unizen (www.unizen.io). He is a broadly and deeply connected member of the global blockchain community and has had the privilege of continuously reinforcing these connections and working relationships with high-quality crypto-investor syndicates, enterprises, leading crypto exchanges, editors, key opinion leaders, market makers, and the management teams and advisors across a plethora of projects.

Tom Sweeney

Chief Operating Officer

Tom Sweeney is the Chief Operating Officer of Zen Innovations Pte Ltd., the operator of the Unizen Smart Exchange Ecosystem (www.unizen.io), and a Managing Partner & CEO at JUN Capital Management Ltd. (www.juncapital.io), a leading crypto VC and strategic advisory firm. He has been actively involved with blockchain since 2017 and has over 30 years experience in cross-border technology investing, fund management, investment banking and corporate strategy. He currently lives in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Tom was previously the General Manager & Partner of Iris Capital Management (MENA), the Dubai-based fund manager of STC Ventures. While in Dubai from 2009 – 2014, he concurrently served as a special investment advisor to KACST, Saudi Arabia’s National Science Foundation & National Research Laboratories; Taqnia, the Kingdom’s sovereign technology investment company; and SABIC Ventures, the global corporate VC arm of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation.

Before relocating to the Middle East, he was the Managing Director of the Canadian affiliate of Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage VC fund located in Silicon Valley. He was previously CEO of Classwave Wireless and the Founder and CEO of Abilon (sold in 1997).

In 2011 he led an international team of legal and tax experts that prepared a comprehensive study for the government of Saudi Arabia on reforming its legal and taxation systems as they relate to VC fund formation and cross-border investing. From 2005 until 2010, he served as the Chairman of the VC & Intellectual Property Working Groups for the Strategic Innovation Program between the State of California and Canada. The group’s policy recommendations resulted in amendments to Canada’s cross-border investment taxation laws and its second report became a reference guide to universities across Canada and the State of California for cross-border IP development and international commercialization.

Tom graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada as the Cadet Wing Commander, with a B.Eng (First Class Honours). He began his career as a fighter pilot, flying the CF-104 Starfighter and the CF-18 Hornet in Europe, during which time he became the Canadian Air Wing Electronic Warfare Officer, a NATO Wing Tactical Evaluation Officer, and represented Canada on various US and NATO strategic and technology intelligence committees.

Greg is a Partner at Jun Capital Management in San Diego, California. He is a serial entrepreneur, technology investor, author, and a globally recognized pioneer in the field of innovation-based economic development.

He has spent over 25 years working in start-ups and venture capital, and has started, mentored, advised, invested in, and/or served as a board member of hundreds of companies. He is a visiting lecturer at Stanford University and serves as the Director of Innovation at the University of California, San Diego, where he also lectures.

Greg is the co-author of the bestselling book, The Rainforest: The Secret to Building the Next Silicon Valley, and is a trusted advisor to such notable organizations as the US State Department, the Aspen Institute, the University of California, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank, in addition to being a Senior Fellow with the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils.

He was co-founder of Global CONNECT, which has grown to be a global network of accelerator programs in over 25 countries around the world.

Greg began his career working for the Berkshire Hathaway operating company where he spent over 17 years in various executive management roles before leaving to join his first Silicon Valley startup.

Dr Ian Sobieski

Chairman & Founder, Band of Angels

Ian leads the Band of Angels (www.bandangels.com) in Silicon Valley: the first and most prestigious angel investing group in the United States, whose membership is limited to former officers or founders of high technology companies. Since its inception, the Band has invested approximately $250M into 300+ startup companies.

Ian has been a founding partner of three Band related seed venture funds and a partner at Labrador Ventures. He is currently the general partner of the Band of Angels Acorn Fund, which backs entrepreneurs who have the strategy of building profitable companies or exiting on the Fund's sole investment. He has personally made more than 120 early-stage investments and has served on more than 20 boards of directors.

Ian is a frequent speaker, lecturer, and commentator in entrepreneurship and startup issues in Silicon Valley and nationally. He is the author of a dozen technical publications and is a former lecturer in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of California at Berkeley. D

He holds a Ph.D. and MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, is a founding board member of the Angel Capital Association and is a member of the Venture Capital Network. In 2020, Ian was elected to the City Council of the City of Sausalito for a four-year term.

Dr iur. Siegfried Herzog

Head of Compliance, Unizen

Dr. Siegfried Herzog was Chief Compliance Officer at Bittrex Global and Compliance Officer at Marxer & Partners Attorneys at Law. Siegfried Herzog specializes in due diligence law, automated exchange of information, and associated process management and digitization issues.

As a Managing Partner of CLL Compliance Labs AG, Siegfried Herzog is an expert in market regulation, data protection, and KYC/AML/CFT in the banking, fiduciary, and blockchain sectors.

Nicholas Racz

Co-Founder, CIO of 3GR LLC

Nicholas Racz is an expert on managing data in decentralized projects, particularly through systems that support compliance, Self-Sovereign Identities and KYC. As a leading decentralization researcher, he will also provide unique, data-driven insights on token ecosystem design and tokenomics. His expertise will help shape strategies to increase the utility of ZCX token and identify new growth areas.

His advisory experience at Outlier Ventures and Cheqd helps shape innovations in decentralized incubation and regulation. Having Nicholas Racz on board as a strategic advisor is another step towards combining decentralization and compliance throughout the Unizen ecosystem.

Rachid Ajaja

Chief Executive Officer, Alliance Block

Rachid is a serial entrepreneur with an obsession for modelling, analytics development, quantitative analysis and data science. For the last decade, he has been developing and implementing models and methodologies to help organizations with forecasting and risk management. He was a Quantitative Analyst at Barclays. In 2017, he completed the building and deployment of a highly scalable deep learning model in artificial intelligence applied to computer vision.

His impressive work received accolades from VINCI which commissioned him to help orchestrate the ambitious “smart highways and smart cities” project, combining AI and Blockchain. Rachid is also a Venture Partner at Alpha Omega Capital. He holds an engineering degree in Computer Science and Signal Processing, and a Masters degree in Probability Theory, Stochastic Process and Quantitative Finance.
